Try something new. Challenge your views of creativity and culture.
Working collectively the people of Bournemouth have come together to present a plethora of innovative and diverse events. This collaborative approach has resulted in Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe (BEAF), Bournemouth’s largest art festival.
8 day, 100 events, 500 artists, 50 venues.
With performers, singers, musicians, DJs, poets, painters, dancers, comedians, digital artists, illustrators, sculptures, filmmakers, actors, puppeteers, magicians, writers, photographers, kids entertainers and more.
With a diverse and accessible range of events suitable for all audiences, including; exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, live music, poetry and even a film festival, BEAF is a showcase of local emergent artists and creatives.
The BEAF Team
Everyone who worked to make BEAF 2015 a success gave their time and talents for free. From the artists themselves, who organise and fund their own events, to the production team who handled everything from programme design, press, distribution, social media, digital platforms, organisation et al.
BEAF has seen us gain funding from Arts Council England so a few key team member’s will be paid a nominal fee for their time helping organise the festival. We have also proportioned a significant amount to support local artists produce work for the festival. This will be available through a commissioning process.
We still need a lot of help and assistance leading up to and during the festival. If you want to join us, please email email@example.com with your details.
