Bournemouth’s expansive coastline and views are second to none, and they inspire artists and artisans both locally and from around the globe. It’s this organic fruition, coupled with a variety of unique and high quality venues, that makes the resort such a natural backdrop for exhibitions and displays.

The world class Bournemouth International Centre hosts a huge variety of events throughout the year, including wedding fairs, lifestyle shows, and special interest exhibitions. It’s a huge complex with cafés and lounges, so you’ll be well catered for during your visit, and you can socialise or network with like-minded people.

Meanwhile, the historic, clifftop Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum runs an exciting schedule of exhibitions on topical and eminent themes throughout the year. Its spacious galleries lend themselves to hosting some of the world’s most famous collection pieces, as well as smaller displays featuring local artists and sculptors.

Bournemouth also has an outdoor exhibition space at the Pinewalk Gallery, so you can browse art free of charge and at your leisure in the spring and summer months.

The Pinewalk runs alongside our historic, grade II-listed gardens in the shaded and leafy walkways that made the resort so popular in the Victorian era. It’s like a step back in time.

As well as art, you’ll find other exhibitions in and around the town appealing to hobbyists and enthusiasts. Ranging from retro clothing to vintage motors, there are opportunities to display your own memorabilia or ogle a money-can’t-buy dream machine.

You can choose to book a stay around any of our exhibitions and perhaps travel with fellow enthusiasts, or pop in if you’re passing through with family. Our exhibitions are a great way to make the most of your trip to the seaside. The most popular venues are within walking distance of our bustling town centre and seafront, so you can combine your explorations with a stroll through the shopping districts or along the prom.
