At Tourism, we work with partners and businesses across the destination, led by the Destination Management Board (which replaced the Bournmeouth & Poole Tourism Management Board from 1st April 2019), to create unforgettable memories for the holidaymakers and day trippers that visit the town.
By becoming a Bournemouth Tourism Partner, you will gain access to some fantastic tailor-made benefits designed to help promote your business to the visitor market. We are a non-profit making organisation, so all income received from advertising fees and paid-for initiatives are directly reinvested into promoting the destination and creating business for you.
If you're looking to raise greater awareness of your business, increase your website traffic or generate even more bookings, then take advantage of one of our digitial marketing opportunities.
Replacing Bournemouth & Poole Tourism Management Board from 1st April 2019, following the amalgamation of Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole into one local authority, the aim of the Destination Management Board is to represent the interests of all businesses, groups and individuals that support the local economy and contribute towards the development of the destination as a place to visit, work and live.
Bournemouth’s Tourism Marketing Group (BTMG) is made up of representatives from different industry sectors to drive the destination marketing strategy.
Bournemouth and Poole aspires to be a World Class destination. Developed by the Bournemouth and Poole Tourism Management Team, with research from the National Coastal Tourism Academy and Dr Philip Alford from Bournemouth University the 5 year strategy sets out how we plan to achieve this ambition.
