Road Directions

By foot:

Kings Park is off the main A35 Christchurch Road with numerous routes into the park. The Athletics Stadium is next door to AFC Bournemouth’s Football Stadium.

By Car:

Kings Park and AFC Bournemouth Football Stadium are signposted off the A338 Wessex Way, access by car is from Ashley Road too. Parking is free on the park roads but there is a charge if you park in the main football pay & display car-park (50p for 1 hr, £1 for 2 hrs). Please do not park in the Athletics Stadium Car-Park or Lorry Park.

Public Transport Directions

Bus: There are buses including 1a/1b/1c which run every 20 mins on a Saturday morning between Bournemouth and Christchurch along Christchurch Road, just get off the bus at Gloucester Road and walk along that road for 1/4 mile and the Kings Park Athletic Stadium is right in front of you. Please see the attached map.

Train: Pokesdown train station is approx 1/2 mile walk, from the station just walk along Christchurch Road towards Bournemouth, in 1/4 mile turn right into Gloucester Road then same as above.
