About Us

Five local artists collaborate to bring together a show of standout, mixed media artwork.
The exhibition includes some stunning examples of the following techniques:
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print.
Oil pastels are a part drawing/part painting medium with characteristics similar to pastels and wax crayons.
Monotype is a form of printmaking. The image is created in reverse on a flat plate and then passed through a press to create a print.
Ghost print effect happens when the ink left on a plate (surface) is put through a press again on fresh paper leaving a paler version of the original.
There will be a Meet the Artist event on the last day of the show, Saturday 17th October 2020

Please note, advance booking is advised via the website and face coverings are requested inside the museum.

The museum is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
