Day 1 – AM:

Start the day with a journey of discovery through the Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre. Browse exhibitions journaling 14,000 years of archaeology, ecology and geology, find out more in the learning space and shop for gifts and souvenirs.

COFFEE: Boscombe (suggestions include Cafe Boscanova and clifftop hotels)

Whilst on the seafront enjoy the slot machines and video games at Pier Amusements, or head into town for a game of Laser Quest or themed indoor mini golf at Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf.

LUNCH: Bournemouth Town Centre (Visit our restaurant page for ideas and inspiration)

Day 1 – PM:

If you're in the mood for something a little more active and adrenaline-fuelled, head over to RockReef, located on the iconic Bournemouth Pier. This indoor activity centre offers climbing walls, high ropes, and more. Perfect for an adrenaline rush on a gloomy day.

Alternatively you can head to Europe's largest virtual reality and escape room Venue, Centre VR for a truly out of body experience!

Enjoy a great night out under cover at the cinema, or book live entertainment at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), the Pavilion and Pavilion Dance South West.

Getting about…

Local bus routes will get you around the resort and you can even travel under the shelter of a land train along the seafront from Boscombe to Bournemouth.
