48 Hour Itinerary

Bournemouth Seafront • Bournemouth Lower Gardens • Boscombe Seafront • Boscombe Pier

Day 1 – AM:

Hire a deckchair or sunbed, find a spot along our seven miles of golden sand and sit back and relax or spend the morning paddling and making sandcastles.

ICE CREAM: Bournemouth Seafront (suggestions include The Prom Café and seafront kiosks)

Day 1 – PM:

Stroll through Bournemouth’s historic Grade-II listed Lower Gardens – sunbathe among the flower beds on the lush green grass, stop for coffee at the Pine Walk aviary. Discover Bournemouth's past as you smuggle your ball around 18 holes of adventure golf at Smugglers Cove.

Day 1 – Evening:

For some good, old fashioned seaside fun, stop in at the amusements along Bournemouth’s seafront where you’ll find the most up-to-date entertainment machines and a variety of prizes.

Day 2 – AM:

Explore Bournemouth’s traditional seaside delights – hop on a cliff lift for panoramic views from a coastal vantage point, then jump aboard our iconic land train for a ride along the prom to Boscombe in the east.

LUNCH: Boscombe Seafront (suggestions include The Prom Diner)

Day 2 – PM:

Boscombe’s historic pier features an 18-hole mini golf course, complete with eco-friendly golf balls which feed the fish!
