THE 18TH SHAKESPEARE SCHOOLS FESTIVAL 2018
With Grange School, Bourne Academy & Glenmoor & Winton Academies
The Shakespeare Schools Foundation returns to Christchurch this year and is proud to present the world’s largest youth drama festival at The Regent Centre on Wednesday 14 November 7.00pm.
This is a chance to share an exhilarating evening with some of the leading local schools from the area, featuring a series of unique, abridged Shakespeare productions.
The participating schools are The Bourne Academy who will be performing "Much Ado About Nothing;” The Grange School from Christchurch who will be performing "Twelfth Night" and Glenmoor and Winton Academies who will be performing "The Tempest."
See Shakespeare’s timeless stories brought to life like never before, and support young people from your community as they put their best foot forward and take to the stage in these specially abridged versions of some of The Bard’s best loved plays.
Shakespeare Schools Foundation is a cultural education charity, transforming lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. This year they are marking their 18th birthday with a Season of Democracy, in which young people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities have been finding their ‘voice’ in their school rehearsal room, culminating in a thrilling night of theatre.
