Day 1:

Wake up to the sound of the waves gently lapping on the shore and the fresh sea breeze ruffling your hair. Hire a tandem bike and freewheel with your loved one along the prom.

Once you reach Boscombe, take a break from the saddle and enjoy a romantic walk through the Chine and Italianate Gardens. A £2 million pound project has recently restored the gardens to their former Victorian glory, making this a truly secret hideaway beside the sea. With mini golf and a café, you can stock up on refreshments after a leisurely putt.

Head back to the centre of Bournemouth and continue your romantic break with a trip to one of the UK’s most unique museum houses – the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum. The ultimate declaration of love, this exotic clifftop villa was built by Merton Russell-Cotes as a birthday present for his wife Annie and is filled with beautiful objects from their travels across the globe, as well as a remarkable collection of British art and a year-round exhibition programme. Day 2:

Kick off the second day of your mini break with an exhilirating swoop onto Bournemouth’s award winning beaches. Experience the world’s first and only pier-to-shore zipwire – a thrilling, adrenaline fuelled ride over the waves. And best of all, you can share every moment with the option to zip on dual wires.

Spend a leisurely afternoon in Bournemouth’s shopping district, browsing high street favourites, designer brands and independent boutiques. Perhaps your beau will even find inspiration in the jewellery shops dotted along our Victorian arcades!

Book a back row seat and catch a romantic movie in Bournemouth’s 10-screen cinema complex.
