Alexander Lodge is a charming, family run, Edwardian character guesthouse set on a picturesque tree-lined avenue, offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Southbourne, Bournemouth. Just 2 minutes’ walk from the clifftop and blue-flag award winning beaches, with views of Hengistbury Head, the Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rock. Also a short, level walk from the local, independent coffee houses, restaurants and shops of Southbourne Grove, with its regular bus service into Bournemouth. Christchurch Priory, Mudeford Quay and the New Forest are also within an easy reach We have 4 recently-refurbished rooms available (3 doubles/twins – one with its own balcony - and 1 single). All rooms are en-suite and have a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, free WiFi and there is free on-site parking for all guests. We offer a scrummy home-made, locally sourced, full English breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options) together with a variety of cereals, Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, toast, fresh coffee and juices.
