This exotic clifftop villa was built by Merton Russell-Cotes as a birthday present for his wife Annie and is filled with beautiful objects from their travels across the globe, as well as a remarkable collection of British art and a year-round exhibition programme. Book a tour or browse at your leisure.
LUNCH: Bournemouth Seafront (suggestions include the Russell-Cotes Café or Urban Garden in the Lower Gardens)
Afternoon:
Book one of our famous beach huts or hire a deckchair or sunbed and find a spot along our seven miles of golden sand, then spend the morning paddling, making sandcastles and watching the world go by.
ICE CREAM: Bournemouth Seafront (suggestions include seafront kiosks)
For traditional family seaside fun, stop in at the amusements along Bournemouth’s seafront. Discover Bournemouth's past as you smuggle your ball around 18 holes of adventure golf at Smugglers Cove. Hop on our iconic land train to Boscombe Pier and enjoy the spectacular views looking towards Hengistbury Head and towards Sandbanks.
