About Us
Halloween is just around the corner, and Southbourne is getting into the spooky spirit with its annual Pumpkin Carving Contest, happening on Saturday, 26th October from 11 AM to 3 PM at Southbourne Green. Brought to you by Bournemouth Coastal BID, this is going to be a brilliant day out for the whole family!
Bring Your Best Pumpkin and Win £100!
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a pumpkin Picasso, now's your chance to show off your skills! Carve up your best pumpkin and bring it down to the green for a shot at winning £100. The winner will be revealed at 3 PM, so be sure to get there in plenty of time to enter and see if your creation takes the top spot!
Support Local Shops and Win Even More!
It's not just about carving pumpkins—this event is a great way to support our brilliant SoBo traders. You can grab a token to vote at the Green or by The Larder House, and as you wander through the shops, give your token to the one with the best pumpkin display.
Alternatively, you can see all of the shop pumpkins on www.visitsouthbourne.co.uk make sure to pick your favourite, come down to the Green and let the Rotary Club know which one you want to win. The shop with the most votes will bag £200, so it's all a bit of friendly competition!
Family Fun for Everyone
There'll be face painting to keep the little ones entertained, plus free sweets for the first 10 families to arrive—so get there early if you've got a sweet tooth and don't forget to also bring your pumpkin for your chance to win £100!
Plus swing by and say hi to the Bournemouth goats, who'll be making a special appearance.
The pumpkins will be judged by the rotary club at 2pm on the green.
A Brilliant Day Out in Southbourne
