Outdoor cinema returns to Bournemouth with the Oscar winning La La Land, Notting Hill, and the Goonies!

La La Land
Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) and Mia (Emma Stone) are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love. But as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threatens to rip them apart forever.

Notting Hill
William Thacker (Hugh Grant) is a London bookstore owner whose humdrum existence is thrown into romantic turmoil when famous American actress Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) appears in his shop. A chance encounter over spilled orange juice leads to a kiss that blossoms into a full-blown affair. As the average bloke and glamorous movie star draw closer and closer together, they struggle to reconcile their radically different lifestyles in the name of love.

The Goonies
A group of friends are in danger of losing their town to foreclosure from a development company.  Mikey finds a map in the attic and realises this is the mythical treasure of 'One Eyed Willy; the famed Astoria pirate.  With nothing to lose, the friends embark on a journey to find the treasure, while outwitting the evil Fratelli Clan who are also after the loot. Can their mix of skills avoid the booby traps, decipher the codes and out run the bad guys?

Come and enjoy this classic Hollywood musical in a beautiful outdoor setting, with the sound of the sea just a few metres away.

Tips for enjoying Luna Cinema

Bring something to sit on (blanket or picnic chair) or you can purchase Luna fleece blankets and backrests on-site or by pre-order with your tickets.
In the event of bad weather the event will go ahead - please check the forecast and come prepared (ponchos and blankets will be available on-site to make you as comfortable as possible).
Please note that it can turn chilly in the evenings, so please make sure you bring suitable clothing.
Although all our sites are lit, it is recommended that you bring a torch to provide localised lighting.
No naked flames, BBQ’s, gas stoves or candles. No tents,  or pop-up structures. No dogs or pets (except guide dogs).
Glass is not permitted onsite – please ensure all drinks are consumed from plastic drinkware.
The Luna Bar (where present) operates a Challenge 25 Policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you purchase alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18. Please don’t be offended if you are asked for ID.

Capacities are strictly limited and all tickets must be booked in advance. Hot Food available - Pre-order when buying tickets. Choose from a great selection of drinks at the Estrella Bar on site. Bring something to sit on or pre-order your blankets & back rests.
