About Us:
This production is brought to you by new, professional theatre company, Most Rare Vision. It features Globe-trained, local BLTC veteran Ant (Anthony) Henson (Dial M for Murder, King Lear, The Glass Menagerie) and London-based newcomer Martha Ibbotson,
Martha trained at Fourth Monkey and is a BASSC advanced actor-combatant. Ant, actor and Artistic Director of the company, was born and bred in Bournemouth. He started his acting journey with local theatres such as Bournemouth Little Theatre Club and Brownsea Open Air Theatre where he performed in 'Love's Labour's Lost' in 2012 and 'Twelfth Night' in 2022 before heading to Drama School in London in 2024. He also runs Shakespeare Open Mic nights in Bournemouth named, 'Exit Pursued by a Bear.' Thus, Most Rare Vision are delighted to have the opportunity to debut this exciting new version of Macbeth in Ant's home town.
Show details:
Macbeth runs from Mon 21st - Fri 25th of April at Bournemouth Little Theatre at 19:45, before transferring to London from Tues 27th - Sat 31st of May at The Bread & Roses Theatre, Clapham.
Running time: 1hr 30 with no interval. Following the show there will be a 15-20 minute Q and A with the cast/Artistic Director of Most Rare Vision in the bar area. All are welcome and invited to ask any questions about the show and/or company. The bar will also be open both before and after the show for a refreshment or two.
