About Us

In 2016 Police Dog Handler and Police Dog Finn were in pursuit of a robbery suspect when the suspect turned around and attacked them. Finn was stabbed with a ten-inch-bladed knife, both through his chest, via his armpit and then – the knife bound for Dave – through the top of his head. Finn no doubt saved Dave’s life, but the race was on to try and save Finn’s.

Finn is now the UK’s most decorated dog, which includes Hero Dog Award at WoofstockUK August 2017; RSPCA Hero Animal of Year 2017, and he now joins a prestigious group of animals of the highest order as the 27th animal to receive in 2018 the PDSA Gold Medal, otherwise known as the animals’ George Cross. It is no wonder that Finn’s selfless bravery has been recognised and praised by the public who have been captivated by his story.
