Our headliner is the incredible Mike Gunn who's TV appearances include: Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), Harry Hill's TV Burp (ITV).

Mike Gunn's history is as interesting and entertaining as his comedy. A misspent youth and a series of grim jobs cultivated his cynical outlook on life and a perverse desire led him to the world of stand-up. A self-confessed pessimist, he describes himself as "not a natural choice for a career in laughter".

Early in his career Mike was supporting the likes of Jo Brand and Alan Davies and has supported Lee Mack on his huge UK tour. He now headlines at all the top comedy venues in the UK and is rapidly reaching cult status on the circuit.

John Newton opens the show, who began his comedy career in 2003, he fast became known for his inventive writing, covering a massive spectrum of subjects from the surreal to the hard hitting, yet still managing to remember that "the gag" comes first. In that respect, he's an old fashioned gag teller/writer and proud of it.

Also performing on the night is loveable Welshman David Arnold. David is an award-winning comedian and a real find, blending together both mainstream and alternative styles of comedy in an original and very memorable way. Since bursting onto the comedy scene in 2012 he has shared the stage with comedy royalty, performed for sell-out crowds and won critical acclaim in competitions such as So You Think You're Funny.
