Get ready to lace up your skates and glide into summer, as Summer Skate arrives at Bournemouth's picturesque Lower Gardens for a sun-soaked season of entertainment. 

Running from July 19th to August 26th, Summer Skate will be transforming a patch of the iconic gardens into Bournemouth's first-ever outdoor roller rink, inviting skaters of all ages to get their skates on and soak up a slice of Summer in the heart of Bournemouth.

But this is no ordinary roller rink - Summer Skate is an experience that promises to energise and activate the Lower Gardens. In addition to the main skating area, the Summer event will also feature; 

• Morning yoga and fitness classes led by the expert instructors of RISE Bournemouth.

• Special event nights such as Motown, 80’s night, Quiz nights, and events with themed activities and entertainment for all ages.

• Street food truck with outdoor seating areas 

• Airstream Bar serving all of your favourite ice-cold drinks & Cocktails 

• Barista Coffee from local Bournemouth town centre business Bobby’s Parlour 

• Live music performances

• Film Nights from the event's dedicated big screen
