We really hope you’re all staying healthy and happy. From 5 January, as with the rest of the UK, Bournemouth is in lockdown so please adhere to all Government guidelines to help protect you, your loved ones and those around you. Along with our coastlines, open spaces and countryside, we will be here waiting to welcome you back with open arms, once it is safe to do so.

However, due to the current ever-changing nature this cannot be guaranteed, so do please check with restaurants, hotels, attractions and shops before visiting by calling ahead or checking their website directly.

Exploring Bournemouth's beautiful outdoor spaces:
In-line with government advice, Bournemouth have a fantastic array of outdoor spaces that will still be open. We ask those making use of these spaces to do so safely and respectfully, adhering to the latest government guidelines and maintain the necessary social distancing and limitations in these areas. Please follow our guidelines to Respect, Protect and Enjoy Bournemouth.
The guidance on working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19) has been updated with priority actions for businesses to take, including steps for collecting information for the Test and Trace system and rules on gatherings of more than 6 people.

You may have noticed new signs around town asking you to keep your distance and to keep left. This is part of a strategy to help maintain social distancing and keep our spaces safe and welcoming.
