Dorset has a long history of golfing prowess with an abundance of picturesque and varied courses and, as it began to emerge as a popular seaside destination in Victorian times, Bournemouth established golf clubs in the resort itself. Dorset’s Championship courses also boast links with past masters of the sport including Bobby Locke, Severiano Ballesteros and Ryder Cup Captain John Jacobs.

Other locations are set along rivers and incorporate Dorset’s famous rolling countryside. A warm welcome awaits you at Queen’s Park Golf Course, which was established in 1905. As ex-Championship course, it is Bournemouth’s golfing crowning glory set in undulating mature parkland with tree-lined fairways.
