A UK-wide industry standard mark helping businesses to reassure customers that they have adhered to Government and public health guidance has been launched by Visit Britain and Visit England, helping you feel safe and secure when you visit any of our partners. Accommodation sites, restaurants and attractions can display their We're Good To Go accreditation to customers on their premises and online letting you know they've taken every possible precaution, in line with the tourism-wide specific guidelines.

Whether you are looking for some ideas or suggestions to make the most of your stay or a local resident who wants to find out what’s on in your area, pop into the Christchurch Information Centre. Located adjacent to the Regent Centre on the High Street, the team of friendly volunteers are there to welcome you to our beautiful Coast with the Most. From help with attraction and activity ideas, festivals and events and theatre information, eating out, places to see and much more, you will be sure of a warm welcome.
Planning your Journey
With so many great travel options and its close proximity to London, our area is very accessible by car, train, coach, bus, plane and ferry.
If you are travelling from another country, you will be delighted to find that we have an international airport, four miles from Christchurch town centre and Southampton Airport, is just over 30 miles away. The ferry port in Poole 12 miles away which connects us with Europe with regular sailings to St Malo and the Channel Islands with Condor Ferries and a cross channel ferry service to Cherbourg with Brittany Ferries.
