About Us

Situated in a quiet area of the West Cliff, close to the Blue Flag Beach at Durley Chine, the Winter Dene is an elegant Victorian villa which has been lovingly refurbished to offer comfortable surroundings for your holiday with the friendly atmosphere of a family-run Bed and Breakfast. Standing in award-winning gardens, just five minutes walk from the sea and a short stroll to the town centre, pier and theatres and the Bournemouth International Centre. The spacious, en-suite bedrooms, with shower or bath and shower, are attractively furnished with antiques and pine. All rooms are equipped with safe, hospitality tray, TV, hairdryer, cotton bed linen and complimentary toiletries. The double rooms have superking or kingsize beds. Free WiFi. The light and airy breakfast room overlooks the garden and the menu offers a wide choice including our delicious Full English Breakfast as well as lighter options such as scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, fresh fruits and yoghurts. We also take Room Only bookings for those who like a lie-in. Plenty of Car Parking within the gardens. The Winter Dene welcomes children aged 7 and over. We do not cater for single sex groups and family rooms are for families only. Guaranteed Free Parking for bookings made directly with the Winter Dene on our own website or by telephone.
