Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts
Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, is to open again to the public on Tuesday 15 September.
The initial reopening is very limited and restricted to the Cinema, the Beacon café, ticket office and some behind-closed-doors rehearsals, courses and classes. Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is also expected to resume rehearsals in the Concert Hall.
During this period Lighthouse will be developing a pop-up film studio for creating digital content for live streaming of concerts and other performances whilst audiences are unable to attend live indoor events.
We await further guidance from Government regarding live indoor performances and very much look forward to welcoming back the audiences we have missed so much as soon as it is safe to do so.
Due to continued Government restrictions Lighthouse will remain closed for all live events and activities until the end of August.
