An exciting new street food and drink venue is being planned for Bournemouth after Blue Collar confirmed it has signed an agreement for its second permanent site.

The proposed venue, which is located on a piece of derelict land near the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), would feature a bar, two floors, and three permanent kitchens. It's designed for year-round use, with a large outdoor beer garden for the summer and a fully enclosed space for the winter months.

In a statement on its website, Blue Collar highlighted its vision for the new venue. The company stated that in addition to the permanent kitchens, the site would also host a changing lineup of street food trucks. This will provide a platform for independent businesses across the South Coast, helping to create jobs and support other local traders.

The company's spokesperson said they hope to build on the success of their current operations in Reading. There, they run weekly street food markets and their popular permanent venue, Blue Collar Corner.

The plans are still subject to planning and licensing approval. If the project gets the go-ahead, the new site could open as early as spring next year.
