With the holiday season upon us, all of us at BCP Tourism would like to kick-start this special time of year with our 12 days of Christmas blog! Every two days, we will be releasing a blog specifically designed to give you ideas and inspiration on what to do in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole over the festive period. Introducing blog number one...

Get into the Christmas spirit at Bournemouth’s Christmas Tree Wonderland. This year, we will be welcoming back Christmas Tree Wonderland for the 5th year running!

Expect to see dazzling decorations and twinkling trees across Bournemouth’s Town Centre, Gardens, and Pier Approach. The FREE event will start on Friday 18th November 2022 until Monday 2nd January 2023, so don’t miss out!

Where to Start?

The starting point would be at Bournemouth’s seafront, overlooking a beautiful winter sunset. As the dusk night draws in, it is perfect lighting to get some beautiful pictures of the trees and sunset!

Along Pier Approach, you will find some old favourites such as the big wheel and the walk-through bauble, along with a few newbies! Making your way up through the gardens, you will be amazed to see the trail continue. With the biggest tree measuring an impressive 60ft, what’s better, is that you are able to walk through it and enjoy different sensory aspects.

What is New for 2022?

As time has passed, Christmas Tree Wonderland has wanted to WOW visitors every year, and this year has been no exception. A total of 8 new features have been added to the trail map! Some of which are trees, such as the new Kyiv Tree and Lucerne Tree, as well as other light installations like the giant boot!
