Priced at £5, this 60-minute performance is designed as a family-friendly experience, perfect for children aged five and up, alongside their grown-ups.Step into the enchanting world of Papageno, the charming bird-catcher, and Prince Tamino, who embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Pamina. Along the way, they encounter the mysterious Queen of the Night and the formidable leader Sarastro. The story—an enduring tale of friendship, bravery, and love shining through darkness—is brought to life through Protein’s signature fusion of dancing, storytelling, singing, and stunning visuals.The theatrical magic extends beyond performance: set and costume design by Dick Bird give the production a visual flair, enhanced by music that combines rearranged Mozart with newly composed pieces by Frank Moon. The visual storytelling is further elevated through creative captioning and video design by Douglas Baker, alongside atmospheric lighting from Rachel Shipp. These elements work in harmony to ensure the performance is engaging, immersive, and accessible to all audience members.Accessibility lies at the heart of this production.
