The coastal route for 2026 promises stunning views. After departing from Poole, the ride travels straight through the heart of Bournemouth before heading onward to Christchurch:

  • Bournemouth Pier (Bournemouth)
  • Southbourne (Bournemouth)
  • Christchurch High Street (approx 12.30 - 1pm)

Charity Partner: Movember

Movember has been the official charity partner of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride since 2016. Both organisations share a simple, unified goal: to bring people together and change the face of men's health. Funds raised help to power Movember’s crucial work across two of the most complex issues facing men around the globe: prostate cancer and mental health.

Parade Etiquette & Operations

A massive logistical effort goes into making the day safe and successful, supported by a dedicated crew of corner marshals, medical staff, and escort vehicles.

Registered participants donning their finest attire are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines to ensure the parade goes smoothly:

  • Always comply with the directions given by volunteer marshals.
  • Stay positioned behind the designated ride leaders.
  • Maintain the established group pace without rushing.
  • Absolutely no passing or overtaking other motorcycles.
