STEM Adventures Return to Science Zone UK – Summer 2025

Inspiring, Empowering, Educating – for Ages 3 to 14

After a five-year break, our beloved hands-on learning programme is back and full of awesome opportunities for learning.

This summer, Science Zone UK is launching a full line-up of STEM-themed workshops designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young explorers aged 3 to 14.From coding robots and building games to launching rockets with exploring the stars, sessions blend technology, science, storytelling and play.

New for 2025, families can enjoy themed days like Astronaut Academy, Dinosaur Rock Out, and the exciting new Pirate Day, combining marine science with star navigation and local history. These sessions are supported by a passionate team of educators, delivering unforgettable learning experiences through creativity and experimentation.

“We’re thrilled to bring back our summer workshops,” said Douglas Karson, presenter at Science Zone UK. “It’s about sparking joy in learning—we want to ignite curiosity and seed a love for the world we live in.”

The Science Dome 360° digital planetarium takes audiences on immersive journeys through space, Earth’s ecosystems, volcanoes, and prehistoric life. Meanwhile, Code Ninjas offers tech-driven workshops like LEGO Robotics, Minecraft Modding, 3D Printing, and Roblox World Builders, giving kids tools to invent, code, and build their ideas into reality.

Workshops take place at Science Zone UK, located in the Royal Arcade, Boscombe, with sessions running on selected dates from 23rd July to 29th August 2025. Sibling and multi-day discounts are available.Whether your child is fascinated by dinosaurs, space travel, coding or chemistry, there’s something here to inspire them. Come for an hour or stay for the day – adventure is waiting.

Programme Dates: 23rd July – 30th August 2025 (Monday - Saturday)

Activities take place on selected weekdays with morning, afternoon, and full-day options. Workshops include coding, science experiments, planetarium shows, and hands-on creative sessions for ages 3–14.
