    Map & Directions

    Road Directions

The Lodges are situated 1/2 mile east of Boscombe Pier at Manor Steps, heading towards Southbourne. A short 10-minute walk from Boscombe Pier or a 5 minute downhill walk from Boscombe Overcliff Drive where parking is available.

    By Car

Beach Lodges Address: Seafront Promenade, Bournemouth BH5 1BN

Due to the nature of our location, we do not have parking directly outside the Lodges themselves so we provide two free parking options; Boscombe Overcliff Drive and Boscombe Seafront Drive.

Boscombe Overcliff Drive Address: Boscombe Overcliff Drive, BH5 1JB

Upon arrival at Boscombe Overcliff Drive you will find a string of on-road parking spaces that are free to the public. Aim to park closest to Boscombe Pier, opposite adjacent roads such as Grovely or Chessel Avenue to be near the top of the Manor Steps Zig Zag.

Once parked you can then walk along the cliff top where you’ll see a sign to the Lodges and the zig zag that leads you to the Lodges at the bottom.

Boscombe Undercliff Car Park Upon arrival at Boscombe Pier (BH5 1BN) you will need to turn right onto the seafront car park. This car park is pay and display, but we do provide a parking permit that you can collect from us during check in. Once parked, our Lodges are approximately 800m east of Boscombe Pier. To reach us you can walk (with the sea on your right-hand side) or take the complimentary Land Train from Boscombe Pier to the Beach Lodges at Manor Steps.

    Public Transport Directions

    Land Train

The Land Train service operates from Boscombe Pier to Bournemouth Pier and back. The timetable is subject to weather conditions and available between Easter and 31 October. Please note, the Land Train does not run during major events on the seafront such as the Bournemouth Air Festival. The Land Trains are wheelchair accessible and dog-friendly!

    Train

The nearest train stations to the Lodges are Pokesdown (for Boscombe) and Bournemouth. Two train companies serve Bournemouth; Great Western Railway (South Western Trains) and Cross Country. The railway line runs directly from London Waterloo and Weymouth, as well as from Manchester and Birmingham. Please note that Cross Country does not stop at Pokesdown for Boscombe.

    Buses

Unfortunately, no buses run directly to Boscombe Pier so the closest stop is by Boscombe Chine Gardens on Christchurch Road. It is a delightful downhill walk from the bus stop through the gardens to Boscombe Pier. The Lodges are a short 15-minute walk from Boscombe Pier.
