About Us

Place Mill is a heritage Mill, situated on the Quomps, Christchurch Quay. Sitting alongside the mill displays, Place Mill has gallery space that is used by artist and maker exhibitions over the summer. This creates a unique showcase of local heritage and culture for both residents and tourists to enjoy. All exhibitions are free of charge and there will be a selection of artwork on sale.

The Strays: This exciting group of emerging artists have come together to create a showcase of ceramics, oil painting, mixed media, and even original inked comics. The dynamic group offer an eclectic skillset and look to add a contemporary twist to traditional art practices.
