If you do visit for a beach walk, why not use the opportunity to explore other parts of the seafront – there’s plenty to choose from. The BCP Beach Check app – free to download for any Apple or Android device, was originally created to monitor the busy beaches but for the winter time it’s the perfect app for finding another beauty spot.
When visiting our destination please make sure you Respect, Protect & Enjoy.
Our beaches are some of the safest in the country with professional RNLI beach lifeguards operating during the summer. Read the 10 top tips for a safe summer at the seaside by the RNLI. It is really important to know your flags: this information should help you have the safest day possible whilst on the beaches.
If you’re heading to the beach this summer, spare a thought for safety. The RNLI is urging everyone planning a trip to the beach and particularly, anyone thinking of going into the water to choose a lifeguard beach and swim between the red and yellow flag areas.
It goes without saying we love our beaches, and we all have a responsibility to respect our town, our award-winning seafront, gardens and open spaces - so while you’re here please respect, protect and enjoy the resort.
If you do visit the beach and it’s too busy, then why not find another quieter area – there’s plenty of seafront to choose from – using our BCP Beach Check app – free to download for any Apple or Android device helping you find that beautiful slice of heaven and keep yourselves safe.
