About Us

Ruddigore is a comic, and a bit macabre, melodrama with villains and heroes, a chorus of unemployed bridesmaids and an ancestral portrait gallery that comes to life. And that’s not all. With witty dialogue and some of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best songs, including “When the Night Wind Howls” and “My Eyes are Fully Open” Ruddigore offers an evening of laughter, pathos and spectacle, as well as great characters and singing. Skilfully directed and accompanied by an accomplished live orchestra, with a few additional surprises in store, this is a show you won’t want to miss!
