Mozart’s bittersweet comic opera is a masterpiece about love, loyalty and the battle of the sexes. Sisters Dorabella and Fiordiligi are revelling in a double romance with two young soldiers. But a wager that women can never be faithful sets in motion a spiral of temptation, disguise and deception. As the intrigue unfolds, Hurn Court Opera’s cast of rising young operatic stars, supported by a professional orchestra, will carry you through a sublime evening of al fresco serenades, vocal fireworks and volcanic emotions with music that is perhaps the most radiant ever written by Mozart.
