Environment Festival

About Us

Come and join us at Kingfisher Barn for a fun filled festival. We will have stalls and information stands giving out information about sustainability and climate change as well as local organisations selling environmentally friendly products. The Yellow Buses 'Wildlife bus' will be here with lots of information about our local wildlife to learn about. Throughout the day we will have activities for all ages including face painting, pond dipping, willow weaving, wood calving demonstration, archaeological demonstration and guided walks. Come along and join us in celebrating our environment.

The event aims to encourage people to come and explore the River Stour and our Visitor Centre and learn about what wildlife and nature there is to see here. We have a wonderful Visitor Centre with lots of information and activities about the local area, it's history and the wildlife. There is a nature garden to explore, with a pond and plenty of flowers to see and smell. We also want to encourage people to think about their impact on the environment and how they can help protect nature.

We encourage people to use public transport where possible to reduce their carbon footprint. We also have limited parking available.
