About Us

Following the great success in December '21 & '22 of the first couple of years of the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar, Christchurch Rotary Club has organised a similar venture for December 2023. Beginning on 1st December, this charity fund-raiser will run every day until 24th December, involving 24 nights, 24 venues, 24 sponsors, 24 local charities and 24 surprise performances.

On each evening at 6pm (24th December will be at 2pm) a 'door or window' will open at a different venue in Christchurch for a free 30 minute performance by a different local performer. As is a child's Advent Calendar, the performer for each evening is not known until that 'door or window' opens at 6pm.

The local charities will be making their own collections each evening, selling raffle tickets and retaining 100% of all proceeds.

The event is fully supported by Christchurch Town Council and BCP Council.
