'70 before Seventy' for The Brain Tumour Charity
Established only 18 months ago, this campaign was created in memory of Julie Fisher by her family. Julie started fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity when she was given her own diagnosis and managed to raise a staggering £25,000 before her untimely death in 2015. Fulfilling a promise to Julie, the family have continued her work and had managed to increase her total to £60,000 when they decided to go a step further. '70 before Seventy' was set up with the aim to reach a fundraising target of £70,000 before what would have been Julie's 70th birthday on March 26th 2022. This concert is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the fundraising achievements for this fantastic charity who undertake such vital research and offer incredible support to so many. The Regent Centre also happens to be a very special venue to the family who spent many years watching Julie perform here on stage in her amateur dramatics productions with Footlights Theatre Company.
