In Christmas

With the holiday season upon us, all of us at BCP Tourism would like to kick-start this special time of year with our 12 days of Christmas blog! Every two days, we will be releasing a blog specifically designed to give you ideas and inspiration on what to do in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole over the festive period. Introducing blog number one...

Enjoy Christchurch’s Yuletide Festivities, NEW to Christchurch this year. Christchurch is well into the swing of things with festivities this year, having hosted the Christchurch Yuletide Festival parade and dazzling Christmas light switch on. The Christchurch Yuletide Festival began on 26th November is running in Christchurch all the way through December until Christmas Eve. Expect to be filled with Yuletide joy whilst celebrating Christchurch’s Saxon roots.

What’s on this festive season in Christchurch?

We have seen some to see great entertainment, music and dance so far and there is much more to come with a fantastic month of festive events, shopping, fun and socialising.

A marquee is in Saxon Square in the perfect spot to provide shelter from the weather after a day of christmas shopping. Why not meet up with friends, family, or colleagues to enioy the entertainment or delicious food and drink from the local businesses?

As part of the festivities, The Hop On Inn will open throughout December selling warming hot chocolate, delicious mulled wine and mulled cider along with a range of other drinks. The Thomas Tripp will be cooking tasty Yorkshire Wraps while the Cheeky Fox Churros will be offering something sweet with vegan churros.

Be sure to wrap up warm and enjoy the festive music, entertainment, events and of course the returning Rotary Advent Calendar, throughout the season.

Check back in two days to find out more about what’s on this Christmas in Christchurch in our next festive blog.

Yuletide Festival in Christchurch is presented by Christchurch BID in association with Christchurch Town Council, Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Rotary Christchurch, Stir! Events, and Norris & Binglewort.
