Bournemouth Bay Run 2010
We want everyone to get involved!
From complete novices to seasoned runners, there really is something for everyone at this year’s Bournemouth Bay Run, on Sunday 28th March 2010.
Sponsored by Fitness First, there’s a Half Marathon and 10k road race with a 5k and 1k Fun Run in association with our Active Communities Team, this year’s Bay Run promises to be the biggest yet!
Runners in the 10k and Half Marathon will be chip timed, ensuring accurate timing for all participants, actual times will also be available (time from crossing start line to finish line).

- Half Marathon – EntryFee is £14 (£12 if UKA-affiliated club member) Starts at 10am (Wheelchair entries start 9.55am) Minimum age is 17 years
- 10k – Entry Fee is £11 (£9 if UKA – affiliated club member) Starts at 9.30am (Wheelchair entries start 9.25am) Minimum age is 15 years
- 5k Fun Run – Entry Fee is £3. Apply online, complete an application form or turn up before 11.35am on the day. Race starts at 11.45am. Minimum age is 13 years
- 1k Fun Run – Entry Fee £1.50. Just turn up on the day before 9.30am. Starts at 9.40am. No minimum age.

We ask all participants to raise sponsorship for the British Heart Foundation, who help organise the event.
Entries for the Half Marathon, 10k or 5k can be made by applying on-line at bhf.org.uk/bayrun, where you can also find out further information about the race or by calling 0800 169 3672 for an application form.
