Emergency Services Family Fun Day

About Us

The Emergency Services Family Fun Day provides a platform for all of the ‘blue light’ services to demonstrate their appliances, equipment and skills to the public in a safe, controlled environment.

This great family day out is organised by Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, Dorset Police and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. It is also supported by many local organisations.

Held every summer, the day involves a wide range of charitable organisations which are integral to the work of the emergency services.

Since its inception in 2010, the day has raised over £12,000 for the Fire Fighters Charity and SafeWise, the education charity which runs StreetWise in Bournemouth and Firewise at the Weymouth Community Safety Centre.
