About Us
Christchurch is full of activities to celebrate Coronation Day. From the Quay to the High Street, entertainment, shop trails – fun, fun, fun!
HIGH STREET
Coronation fun comes to the High Street! Watch out for jugglers, stilt-walkers, and lots of bubble fun in Saxon Square and surrounding streets.
Featuring entertainment from Steamship Circus and Squidge & Pop.
The performances will take place in Saxon Square and Pound Lane from 10:30 am to 5 pm.
QUAY
Coronation fun comes to the Quay with a big sreen showing the Coronation on Saturday and the concert on Sunday.
There will be music and dancing, entertainment, including fairground rides, face painting, fancy dress welcome.
Quay entertainment is 11 - 6pm.
Also don't miss the lighting up of the PRIORY
Come see the Light Show at The Priory from dusk (about 9pm) on Saturday, 6th May. Projection mapped imagery and animation of the monarch and nation will be displayed on the main Priory entrance to celebrate the Coronation. More information can be found here.
