Leave the car at home for an alternative style of holiday... 

Many of us take the car everywhere we go - especially on holidays - well it just seems easier doesn't it? But have you thought about how to get about without the car on a UK holiday - depleting your carbon footprint as you go? Why not take the challenge?

The train or coach allows you to sit back and relax and take in the view for a great start to your break away. Arriving at Bournemouth Station* you will find plenty of information in the Travel and Tourism Office on Bournemouth  and how to get around, including how to get your accommodation - local bus, taxi or by foot. If you are flying into Bournemouth Airport there is an airport shuttle bus which takes you into the town.

The good thing about Bournemouth is that so much is within walking distance of the town centre, which is partially pedestrianised and has the beautiful gardens running through it, taking you down to the beach. To explore the beach and save tired legs the Land Train is the perfect way to enjoy the stunning scenery. Or why not hire a bicycle from Front Bike Hire are ride along the seafront at your own pace?
