About Us
'Where is Christmas?' by Commotion Dance is an immersive dance theatre performance for little ones and their grown-ups.
It's Christmas Eve in the Commotion House but it doesn't feel like Christmas at all.
Piles of boxes are stacked and packed ready to move home, with Christmas nowhere in sight….
Stacking, sorting, packing and piling unfold into adventurous possibilities with quirky characters, enthralling movements and enchanting live music. Transforming the good old cardboard box into a wonderland of curiosity on the road to discovering where Christmas has gone.
Follow your imagination to discover a magical Christmas surprise.
A gentle and magical show suitable for children aged 0 – 7yrs and their grown ups.
What to expect
PDSW is a relaxed venue. There will be soft seating available on the front row. Our family shows are always relaxed performances. This means that you can leave/re-enter the auditorium if you need to and that talking is OK – children ask questions! There is a 'Reading Corner' and space in the foyer to park your buggy. If you wish to be socially distanced or have any specific access needs, then let our friendly Front of House team know if you need help. We are a small venue so you should wear a mask, but do not need to present a 'covid certificate'. Pavilion Dance South West is part of the national 'See It Safely' scheme.
