Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre

Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre opened in May 2016, and is designed as 'the Gateway to the Stour'. It is run in partnership between BCP Council and the Parks Foundation. Together, we host activities and events to raise awareness and understanding about the area's wildlife and cultural heritage.

A warm welcome

A warm welcome awaits you from staff and volunteers. We encourage you to come in at the start of your visit, to make the most of your day.

Events

There's plenty to do for all ages, from Nature Tots and Junior Rangers, to willow weaving and nature trails.

Just take a walk

Pick up a map. Walk down to the River. Enjoy the stunning scenery.

A visit for all

There are plenty of paths that are friendly for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Just ask us for advice on the best routes.
