The ISI is an approved educational oversight body authorised by the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to carry out inspections following the UK’s framework for Educational Oversight. ETC International College has been consistently awarded Grade 1 (Exceeds Expectations) in all categories of their ISI Reports, including:

• Teaching and learners’ achievement.
• Students’ welfare (including health and safety and the effectiveness of governance, leadership and management).

The British Council most recently inspected and accredited ETC International College in August 2019. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation for details). This large private language school offers courses in general and professional English for adults and vacation courses for under-16s and young adults aged 16-17). Points of excellence were noted in aspects of general management, academic management and the leisure programme. The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.
