About Us
Dinosaur Adventures at Swanage Railway!
Travel back in time and Go Jurassic on the Jurassic line! Our dinosaur friends Loki the Velociraptor and Betsy the Triceratops will be making appearances throughout the day at Corfe Castle Station on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July. You may even meet a baby dinosaur and its ranger travelling on one of our trains. This is a perfect day out for the little (and not so little) dinosaur fans in your family.
"My kids fell in love with Loki! How the Rangers managed to keep a straight face whilst he played up to the crowd I'll never know. One of the funniest experiences ever!"
"I was also awestruck at the size of it, particularly the tail. The tail just seemed to go on forever. It was magnificent."
This event is free for anyone who holds a valid Swanage Railway ticket so why not have a family fun filled day out on the Railway? We operate a full-size steam and diesel passenger trains along the five and a half miles of line from Norden to Corfe Castle and down to the Victorian seaside town of Swanage. It's the perfect place to enjoy a great family day out on Dorset's Jurassic Coast! Why not round off the trip with a visit to our free Mining Museum at Norden station?
Have a raw-some family day out!
