Here’s a full week’s worth of suggestions:
1. If you fancy culture, why not pop into Russell-Cotes art gallery and museum, where you can enjoy art, furniture and architecture by leading artists and designers. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum is a beautiful Victorian house, restored to its former glory containing a wonderful collection of art, curiosities and treasure from the travels of Annie and Merton Russell-Cotes.
2. For those who like to create their own art go to ‘All Fired Up’ where you can paint and decorate mugs, bowls and ceramic ware.
3. If you still want seaside experiences, go the Bournemouth Oceanarium with its new interactive dive cage and amazing underwater tunnel, to see sharks, eels, rays and turtles.

4. Those with money to burn might want to check out some of Bournemouth’s wonderful shops, boutiques and department stores while checking out Westover Road, affectionately called the “Bond Street of Bournemouth.”
5. Anyone with a sweet tooth will want to visit Chocolate Delight where they can learn to make their very own Belgian chocolates (while trying a few obviously!). Book online with the Activity Booking Centre.
6. For those thrill-seekers among you, enjoy the varied water sports on offer in Bournemouth and Poole. Sports include kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, skimboarding, kitesurfing and scuba diving. Bournemouth will soon be home to Europe’s first artificial reef providing more good surfing days, increasing the wave size and improving the wave shape.

7. Enjoy one of the many varied shows and concerts at the BIC and Opera House, this year alone we have welcomed Ricky Gervais, Girls Aloud, Westlife, Pink, Razorlight and Keane.
8. Go to one of the various leisure centres in the area. Why not check out Littledown, go for a swim and relax in the Spa. If you’re not the relaxing type there are waterslides…..
Littledown are offering FREE swimming for Kids (aged up to 16 years) everyday* from Saturday 21 July- Sunday 2 September between 1pm and 3pm every day. Call Littledown Centre on 01202 417600 or visit the link below.
