Bournemouth acclaimed at Chelsea Flower Show 2006
No fewer than 5,000 fruits and vegetables from Somerfield and 10,000 flowers were used by Bournemouth Borough Council’s Parks and Gardens Department in creating the dazzling display at Chelsea Flower Show 2006. The display won the highly acclaimed RHS President’s award for best display in the Great Pavilion and also won a Gold medal.
