Founded as the Fancy Fair in 1881 by John Elmes Beale, who later became the town’s Mayor, the store everyone now knows as Beales has been at the fashionable centre of Bournemouth for well over 100 years. Since the 60’s, Beales of Bournemouth has also been the flagship of an ever-increasing group of stores across the south and stretching as far north as Kendal, offering an ever-expanding range of merchandise that includes womenswear, menswear, gifts, cosmetics and homewares.
