96 Teams, 2 days, 1 Big Party!

The weekend is full of entertainment as well as the England Rugby World Cup Winners including Lewis Moody & Austin Healey, there are 5 different tournaments held over the course of the weekend, VIP corporate hospitality, National Netball Festival with England stars, surf simulator, huge beer tents, pitch-side Jacuzzi, children's rugby clinics, Kids Zone, live bands on festival stage, Ibiza Angels, Hed Kandi DJ's, food & clothing stalls, funfair with white knuckle rides, parking on site.



The Bournemouth Sevens tournament will consist of 5 Rugby competitions for 96 teams. The competitions range from the Beer Cup to The National Invitational Cup, this competition will consist of invited teams from various professional clubs across the UK & from overseas. Confirmed Premiership players for the weekend are:

England World Cup Winners: Lewis Moody ,Danny Grewcock, Joe Worsley and Matt Perry

England Squad Players: Austin Healey, Danny Cipriani, Andy Farrell, Oly Barkley, Matt Stevens, Pat Sanderson plus many more.

Samoan, Togan & Fijian Teams: Boasting World cup stars, Fijian side captained by Seru Rabeni of Leicester Tigers.


Played over 2 days, Saturday will involve a host of pool games with winners and runners up from each pool gaining a place in the quarter finals. Sunday will consist of the quarters, semis and finals being contested for both competitions. The award ceremony will take place early Sunday evening and will be filmed and reported on by the local and national media.

THE VENUE

Bournemouth Sevens will be held at Chapel Gate, home of Bournemouth Sports Club. With a capacity for 10,000 each day, this tree lined venue offers the perfect arena for a weekend festival. With numerous pitches and superb facilities in picturesque surroundings just a few miles away from Bournemouth town centre.
