They have become one voice to try and work with the council to improve the environment, tourism, marketing and communications for the hospitality industry. They wish to create awareness of the needs of their members and that of tourism in order to return Bournemouth to No1 UK seaside resort status.

They have representations on many associations including Bournemouth Chamber of Trade, Tourism Action Group, Dorset and New Forest Partnership and Dorset Chamber of Trade.
