The BTMB sector heads have taken the message to their groups and plenty of big names, attractions and hoteliers have stepped up to the challenge!

Trade participation currently includes:
• International Education Forum – working with students to spread the word, leaflet drops and website references
• BIC is playing the official DVD on the welcome screen, leaflets being distributed and recent editorial coverage in their showguide
• Aruba/ Print Room/ WestBeach will be distributing Air Festival postcards with every bill to every diner
• Café Pacifico putting up posters and distributing leaflets
• Thanks to Mark Haslingden President of BAHA, hotels are putting logos on emails and including websites references.
• Hotels actively involved include the Montague, Marriott and Cumberland
• After a busy promotional Easter weekend the Air Festival Branded More bus has taken to the streets of Bournemouth – look out for it on More Bus routes!
• Excelsior are involved with online activity, using staff newsletters to spread the word and playing the official DVD onboard their coaches.
• Working with the Town Centre Management (TCM), leaflets have been distributed to encourage active Town Centre outlets and retailers to give information to customers with each purchase – Avenue Centre have started already!
• In addition the TCM are organising a window display competition in conjunction with the Daily Echo, contact Roger.parker@bournemouth.gov.uk for more details and how to enter this free competition.
• Debenhams and Borders have generously given window space to dress and promote the festival.
• Obscura Café will be promoting the Air Festival
• Promotional opportunities for the Night Time Economy (NTE), headed up by Jon Shipp, NTE Co-ordinator and Alan Dove, contact. jon.shipp@bouremouth.gov.uk for more information and how to get involved
• The Littledown Centre has been using their e-newsletter to promote the festival to over 11,000 subscribers, spreading the word to the local community. Over 3,000 gym users a week have seen the Air Festival logo on the plasma screen.
• We are looking to create a restaurant promotion for families over the summer period, contact michelle.duquenoy@bournemouth.gov.uk to register your interest.
